LEADING anti-racism experts from around the globe will descend on Murdoch University next month to tackle the ongoing problems of discrimination in Australia. The National Symposium on Racism is held at the South Street uni from March 19 – 21.

AUSTRALIA may well become the bee producer of the world depending on the outcome of work being done by Murdoch University student Yan Peng. Ms Peng is teaming up with the WA agriculture department to produce bees free of nosema apis – a devastating fungus that has spread throughout hives across the globe, limiting lifespan and productivity.
